Cuneo Creek Group Horse Campground is located eight miles west of Highway 101 along Cuneo Creek, a tributary of Bull Creek. Since it is far from the highway, it is quiet and a good place to view wildlife.

Jackson Current tends to hit a lot of barrels if his owner Alice “Nicki” Olson doesn’t push him hard. Olson knows this and three weeks ago as she and her horse sped toward the three 55-gallon barrels set up in the clover-shape pattern typical of a barrel race, what was running through her mind was, “Kick hard. Kick hard. Kick hard. Don’t stop pushing.”

Believing that the livestock industry is of basic importance to world existence, we the Cattlewomen dedicate ourselves to support it. The Humboldt Co. Cattlewomen have continued supporting the beef industry and beef education. We participate in many activities such as tri-tip sandwich booths at local events, beef education projects in schools and in the public. Each year we also have a trail ride for members, where we have a lot of fun, food, swimming, horseback riding and more fun.
