What type of saddle does everyone use? I am wondering if anyone uses treeless and what they think of them? I have been getting mixed opinions on the topic and thought I would see if anyone locally had some insight to share.
Also, I was wondering if anyone knew of trail rides going on this summer? (I know about the poker ride this weekend, but nothing after that except some endurance competitions, which isn't really my speed of riding) Any poker rides, group rides, or anything? If there's not, does anyone want to help organize one? Or does this even interest people?

Treeless saddle
I have a Bob Marshall treeless I bought used while I wait for my new one on order. It's a 15" endurance with suede. It's really comfortable for me and apparently for the horse. I kid you not: I just got a 14 yr old appendix qh who runs from the sight of a regular western saddle but he calmly lets me saddle him with a Bob Marshall. I still haven't gotten the guts to get on him since he bucked with every other saddle I put on him until I got the BM saddle! My 4 yr old greenbroke gelding stands still for saddling and mounting with the BM and he doesn't with any other. I'll probably be getting rid of the (barely) used one when I get the new one in August.
